Kids' Kitchen: Maya Cooking

Fifth Graders learned to cook tamales...but more importantly, they learned a lesson in sustainability.  You can use all parts of the corn.  Corn kernels for the masa flour.  Corn husks for the wrapping.  Corn husks for fuel as well as for scrubbing.
