Controlling Water in Palenque

If you were an engineer in Palenque, how would you make sure that water was evenly distributed?   Fifth graders worked on solutions using some modern day materials.  They will be researching actual practices in the next few weeks.


 








Mud Painting Marathon

Some kindergarteners spent all of green recess  painting with mud.  

A leaf got stuck to the roller and printed a whole row of leaves.


Painting around a leaf leaves a leaf shape.


Kids were determined to cover the whole surface.
