4th Graders Inspired by TEK: Traditional Ecological Knowledge

Nancye Good guides students through the process of making burnt out bowls in the ballfield.

Arturo Quinones helped students construct a wigwam.

The plan is  to keep the wigwam up all year (weather permitting).  Stop by, admire the construction and peek in.

No Farm is Complete Without...

 Livestock!

Great that BNS first graders are learning how to care for the 3 Hens:  La Rubia (RUBA) Red (RED), and Speckles (SPINLS).

Harvest Time Salsa

 Ingredients:  peppers, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, lime, vinegar, apple? and first grade chefs.
