Greta's Second Graders Learn a New Word: Ephemeral

Greta introduced students to Andy Goldsworthy's art.
Inspired by his work, students created these sculptures in Prospect Park.  
Back in class, students will continue to make art out of natural materials.

    Love this, Greta!! Recalling you and Amy making a beautiful sculpture out of rocks and wood at the Wonder of Learning last Spring. So happy your class has had a chance to create in Prospect Park. Do they also explore the natural playground like PreK? I would be so interested to hear children's comments about Goldsworthy--his work, and their own....
