Pre-K began their "Forest School" at the Natural Playspace in Prospect Park this week. After a short walk through the woods, everyone gathered in a circle to hear a story...
..."Once upon a time there were some school children who gathered in the woods to go to school. The forest was their classroom!
They explored and climbed the beautiful trees.
They gathered leaves, sticks, and colorful stones to use as their playthings.
There were wonderful discoveries everywhere!
Every leaf became special.
They found cozy hiding places...
...and shared shady resting spots...
...until finally it was time to go back home."
Everyone is looking forward to coming back!
