Shore School for Kindergarten!

Kindergarten classes returned to Marine Park Salt Marsh for their first day of "Shore School." Every Friday, from now until June, the kindergarten classes will spend the day at the park exploring, collecting*, experimenting, and observing nature (the four classes will go two at a time on alternate weeks). Last week it was Marisol and Valerie's and Mary Ann's classes' turn. Here were some of the activities...
*All collected treasures will be returned at the end of the day.
Collecting and comparing shells.

Making waterways in the sand.

Building sand cities.

Observational drawing.

Sighting wildlife!

A mussel shell poses mysteries.

Tide pools shelter lots of life!

Sea snails!

Lots of discoveries and lots of questions!
