How does an animal get its shell?

BNS K students looked at three animals to decide:  

Did they grow them or find them?

BNS BCS Collaboration

Social Justice Educator, Penina, and her BNS 2nd graders  created individual  pickets with messages about the importance of trees.  Sustainability Coordinator, Johanna, and her BCS 12th grade interns  put them together to make a tree guard.  

The results:

One more tree safe from trampled roots. 

One  more project strengthening the ties between our two schools.
