Fabrications and Provocations: Where Science and Play Meet

Maryann's, Kori's and Jenn's K students at the shore.  Where blue fabric became shelters...

mermaid's tails, Queen of The Sea Capes,

A parade float,

 A stormy ocean, or

Poseiden's wind blown flag.

Where sand and water become coffee and cupcakes with some "bits of chocolate" added.

Where water and sand become an erosion experiment.

Where you never run out of interest in pumping water up and sending it back down to the salt marsh.

Where the human need to record beauty and wonder leads to drawing and writing.

Drawing with leftover matting and soft pencils.

Where nature surprises.

A "sea worm"?

A dead mussel

Where sand fills your shoes.

And where you can rule the ocean by commanding it with your magical singing.
