Each day at lunchtime, third graders check paper recycling. Normally pretty tough, these two students are giving Josh a chance to remove an improperly placed item. They are letting him take off the plastic lid from a paper coffee cup. Oh no! The cup has coffee stains on it. It can't be recycled. Will that mean a red mark against Room 324? I had to leave before the verdict came down.
I love that the children are doing this. I always have an urge to sort out "paper recycling" baskets. :)
